Ok, we actually have bikes made of bamboo, but here is a bike painted to look, very realistically, like bamboo. Amazing work here.
Note how the original frame has been customized and the stock decals are used as background for the new icicle treatment.

My son stumbled upon this blog and recognized the Bamboo bike as mine!!
A little back story - 2002 Lemond Zurich, painted by the Creative Cycleworks in New Orleans. The bike survived Hurricane Katrina and is now in New Jersey. I too survived and work in the Ridgewood Cycle Shop - if anyone is in the area - stop in!
